Hi, I'm Matteo.

I'm Italian, living in Dublin, working as a backend software engineer. Most of my days involve designing APIs, thinking about how data moves, and trying to keep things simpler than they want to be.

I care about the craft: things should be simple, honest, and do exactly what they promise. I'm slow to add complexity and quick to remove it.

Outside of work I'm either travelling somewhere, training calisthenics, at a beach, or in a kitchen. Sometimes all four in the same week.
